Bowie County Commissioners' Court
The Bowie County Commissioners’ Court met yesterday. During the meeting Bowie County Judge James Carlow said the Bowie County Correctional Center passed an inspection performed by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards. Judge Carlow said the jail passed with “flying colors”. The Texas Commission on Jail Standards is the regulatory agency for all county jails and privately operated municipal jails in the state of Texas.
